Taking Orders FOR ANIMALS ON THE HOOF FOR CUSTOM SLAUGHTER IN 2025
Since the Corriente is a smaller breed of cattle, individual steaks and roasts are also smaller, making portion control easier!
Steaks range from 6 to 12 ounces on average. Roasts are 2.5 - 4.5 pounds each.
Due to the nature of the grass fed process, whole animals are best purchased late summer to early fall, BUT we do have them YEAR ROUND! To initiate your purchase, fill out the Reservation Form, bhd_reservation_form.docx and mail it to us with a $100.00 deposit.
We deliver the animal to the processor, handle all the necessary inspections and invoice you the balance due when we have the hanging weight.
Once slaughtered, ALL meat is dry aged a minimum of 16 days before being cut, double wrapped, frozen and boxed for pickup at the processor.
If you have never tasted grass fed Criollo beef, we recommend you try a few individual cuts before purchasing an animal on the hoof. Click on the FAQ Button for information on Custom Processing.
